How does NTS Personal tracker increase employee security?
Thanks to personal tracker devices that employees carry with them during working hours, employers have access to information about their movements. The devices record all locations where employees are located, send them in the form of coordinates (latitude and longitude) and thus enable various options in the NTS application:
- Display of the current position of the employee on the map,
- Insight into the movement of the employee from the beginning of the application of the solution and
- Alarm in risky situations.
EMPLOYEE'S POSITION IN REAL-TIME
You can see the location where your employee is in real-time on a map on your mobile phone (NTS Mobile application), computer (NTS Desktop application) or on any other device via the link (NTS @ Web application). In addition to the current location on the map, the application also provides information on whether the employee is on the move, the time since he started or since he stopped, the date and time of the last data received from the device, the total distance travelled from start time to the moment and state of the panic key.
OVERVIEW OF MOVEMENT HISTORY
The movement of your employees remains recorded in the NTS application from the beginning of the application of this solution and is available to you at any time.
Thanks to this option you can control:
- whether your employee has been to all planned locations,
- which locations the employee did not visit,
- whether it was moving outside the defined zone,
- when he started and when he finished working hours,
- when he took breaks, etc.
ALARM IN RISK SITUATIONS
A panic button is specially designed for employees who are in the field or space where they do not have the opportunity to ask for help in risky situations.
By activating the panic button, which is located on the personal tracker device, a warning alarm is obtained in the NTS application. Also, via e-mail, the employer receives a notification that the employee has activated the panic button and the location where he is.
Who applies the NTS Personal tracker solution?
All companies, regardless of their primary activity, whose goal is to increase the safety of employees in the workplace and reduce the risk to which they are exposed daily, apply this solution. Among them are many carriers, transport and freight forwarding companies whose employees transport high-value goods or money. In addition to the panic buttons in the vehicle, drivers also have a personal tracker so that they can quickly alert and ask for help in case of theft, even in the event of distance from the vehicle.
Companies whose employees work in the field, unsupervised and in isolated areas are exposed to great risk, which can be reduced with the help of NTS Personal tracker solutions with timely information about their location and alarming in case of danger. Some of them are delivery companies, utilities (eg parking service, forestry services, etc.) and security services.
Due to their small size, employees can carry personal trackers in their bags, backpacks, in the form of pendants or on a belt. The high battery life of the device is more than enough to cover the duration of the work shift (on average 14 hours of active use according to the manufacturer's specification).
